Greg: You must be thinking of something else. This is a real swanky dept. store with a huge dome. It's kind of like a Harrods with a big gourmet food section.
I was at the Galeries Lafayette a while back and was overwhelmed by all the choices; for some reason this store really stresses me out; I missed the spices though! I much prefer the Bon Marché, have you been?

Ah. Galeries Lafayette. Reminds me a bit of the Ferry Building in SF, right? Am I thinking of the right place? GREG

Joumana: I walked by Bon Marché and it was closed, so I missed out! I used to like to eat at the Monoprix dept. store. Do you remember that?
ReplyDeleteYou're bringing back good memories for many. Gorgeous place and good finds.
ReplyDeleteLovely post, thanks for posting.
